Biography

Of spanish pied noir origin, Feriel, professional dancer ,dance teacher and choregrapher since 14 years shares her passion between France and abroad. She participates in a number of events and famous business evenings.

Passionate of dance since an early age, she practiced a few discipline (classic , modern, jazz, salsa, tango, flamenco, polynesian dances…) before commiting entirely to oriental dances… In 2002 she etablishes the Jawhara Company which she became the artistic director, so that she can share her passion, promote her knowledge and the orientale dances. She creates professionnal shows for theme evenings and events. In June 2003, she dances in first part of the king Raï Khaled concert in Angers (FR) and in 2006 in first part of Laurent Voulsy concert. In 2007 , she dances in the show (my first Zénith ) in Nantes (Fr) next to many other french and canadian artists.

Still in 2007 she wins the 1st price at the oriental dancing competition « The bellydancer of the world » in Duisburg, germany in the category « fantasy fusion solo » and wins again in 2008 the first price fusion solo and the 2nd price in classic egyptian. In february 2008 she creates her first oriental festival « Jawhara Oriental Festival » where she welcomes every year numbers of french and international artists.

In september 2008 she creates her dancing school the « Centre Artistique Jawhara », a place where dances in general but all above all world dances are entrance.

In 2009 she particpates to a number of events including « the oriental dances festival of the east : Leipzig festival » in Prague and at the « festival of Europe » in Duisburg (Germany) and has the chance to work with the egyptian orchestra « the star of the Nile » as one of the soloist dancer and choregrapher . She participates in a « little role » as a dancer in the 4th film of the french director Mathieu Amalric (actor in the last James Bond) in the film « Tournée » out in 2010 (Wedding scene). (Winner of the prize for best director at the Cannes films festival France).

« I have with the bellydance a passionate relation , that dance is 100% part of me, which made me follow numbers of courses and training in France and Abroad, by the side of the best choregraphers and dancers in the world… !Each of them has passed down a different style and facet. I like to be in a constant development and this notably because of this courses and trainings but also because of my encounter, exchange, my classic and latin dance background an my curiosity towards the other dances.We have never finish to learn and develop in this so complete discipline. »
